GREENTECH - GREEN ENERGY AND SUSTAINABILITY CONFERENCE 

25-26 MAY, 2023, ZALAEGERSZEG, HUNGARY

We participated in the GreenTech conference in Zalaegerszeg, Hungary.

The discussion on circular economy and energy issues featured experts, such as

• Dr. Róbert Auer, Research and Development Director of the Circular Economy Science and Innovation Park (MOL-PE),
• Dr Zoltán Korényi, Associate Professor at BME (Budapest University of Technology and Economics) and retired Director of  E.ON (a multinational energy company),
• István Zentai, Head of the Waste Utilization Working Group of the Chamber of Engineers of Budapest and Pest County, and TTL USA INC. V4 Regional Director,
• Péter Bera, Senior Researcher, Climate Policy Institute.

The discussion covered topics that are currently issues of national strategic importance in Hungary, such as the potential of domestic energy sources, diversification of energy supply, major issues of the circular economy, the introduction of a new waste management system in Hungary and the energy generation potential of different wastes.
